JOG Giving

• John O'Gaunt students run annual events in support of Asthma UK in memory of a student Charlie Parfett who died following an asthma attack.

• John O'Gaunt staff and students also run events in support of Marie Curie, MacMillan Cancer Care, Breast Cancer Awareness and the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal (see below).

• Friday 12th October 2012 .. Wear it Welly:  6th form students and staff raised money for Help for Heroes; £1 was paid by everyone taking part and donated cakes were sold in the staff room during morning break.

• Once again John O'Gaunt School is supporting Operation Christmas Child 2012.  Operation Christmas Child is the world's largest children's Christmas project, run by Samaritan's Purse.  Students, parents, staff and friends in the local community are invited to wrap an empty shoebox and fill it with gifts for a child in need.
