Winter uniform – Terms 1 to 4:

Boys

  • Blazer - Dark navy with school badge (badge displaying House colours) #
  • Shirt:  White, standard design, with a collar.  (Shirts to be worn tucked in and ties should be the correct length with the knot in the correct position and top button fastened.)
  • School tie #
  • Jumper (optional):  Plain, navy, v-necked with the school logo (not a cardigan) #
  • Trousers:  Plain, dark grey or black.
  • Socks:  Navy or black.
  • Shoes:  Black [NOT boots or trainers], sensible, safe and suitable for the task – maximum heel height 4cm.

Girls

  • Blazer:  Dark navy with school badge (badge displaying House colours) #
  • Shirt:  White, standard design, with a collar and school tie OR standard design white open-necked blouse.  (If wearing the shirt and tie option - shirts should be worn tucked in and ties at the correct length with the knot in the correct position and top button fastened)

  • Jumper (optional):  Plain, navy, v-necked with school logo (not a cardigan) #
  • Skirt: Plain, navy or black skirts can be worn but must be the standard skirt only available from the school supplier. #
  • Trousers:  Plain navy or black trousers, which must be tailored, straight legged and ankle length.  No leggings, jeggings, jeans or skinny fit trousers.
  • Socks:  Black or navy
  • Tights:  Navy or neutral
  • Shoes:  Black [NOT boots or trainers], sensible, safe and suitable for the task – maximum heel height 4cm.

Summer uniform – optional for Term 5 and 6 only:

Boys and Girls

  • Shirt: White polo shirt with school logo # (only available from the school supplier)
  • OR shirt and tie as for winter uniform

Outdoor Clothing

  • Hooded sweatshirts (“Hoodies”) are not permitted.

Hair styles and make-up

Hairstyles must avoid extremes of fashion.  Discreet make-up, worn sensibly, is acceptable for Years 10 and 11.  Coloured nail varnish, acrylic and gel nails are NOT permitted.

Jewellery

To conform to Health & Safety standards, a reasonable maximum is set out below:

  • Earrings:  One stud only in each ear.
  • Wrist watch
  • Facial/Body jewellery is NOT permitted.  Any student who decides to have a piercing must realise that they will not be allowed to wear the jewellery in school, even during the healing period.  It is strongly recommended, therefore, that any piercing is done in a holiday period with enough time to heal before the student returns to school.

PE Kit - Outdoors

  • Rugby shirt (with school logo) #
  • Blue shorts (skort an option for girls), with school logo #
  • Blue and gold socks – long #
  • Boots and shin pads

PE Kit - Indoors

  • Polo shirt (with school logo) #

No jewellery is to be worn during P.E. lesson time and if hair is shoulder length or longer, it must be tied back.

A student who cannot participate in a P.E. lesson at any time, must bring a note from parents, giving reasons, or a doctor’s certificate if the absence is likely to be prolonged.  It is advisable that non-participants should bring suitable clothing to protect them from the elements, especially during the winter months.

No responsibility can be taken for loss or theft of any items of uniform or jewellery, including mobile phones.  It is essential that all items are marked with the owner’s name.
